What is the Winter Farm Box?
Beginning January 2016, the Autism Aspergers Friendship Society (AAFS) is partnering with Eden Project to offer a bi-weekly Winter Farm Box Fundraiser to AAFS families. Each Farm Box subscription provides you with a supply of FRESH, nutritious produce from farms, orchards and greenhouses in Southern Alberta and the Okanagan ALL WINTER LONG while earning funds for AAFS programming.
Proceeds from the Fundraiser will be used to develop a Horticultural Therapy and Urban Farming Program at AAFS beginnning this summer.
Fresh Produce, direct from your local farmers! Enjoy the superior nutrition, flavour and shelf-life of fresh, local produce while supporting sustainable agriculture, your local farmers and AAFS!
Please read Our Food Policy to learn about our commitment to local and healthy food.
(Note that while we encourage organic practices across the board, we do sometimes carry conventional products that will be clearly labelled).
